From There To Here,

From there to here, here to there, God’s presence is everywhere.

From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same, the LORD’s name is to be praised.  The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory is above the heavens. Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high. Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!

The uniqueness of creation is that God’s fingerprint is present from the tiniest of molecules to the vastness of space. Sometimes, we lack perspective to see the whole picture.

In Job, God rebukes Job’s counselors by saying, “Who is this that darkens counsel by word without knowledge (of ME)? (Job 38:2) Have you ever commanded the morning and caused the dawn to know its place? (v.12)

I stop here thinking the science behind that statement is immense. God set boundaries for the sea and made a cloud its garment. He binds the chains of Pleiades and loose the cords of Orion (v. 31). Is it by my understanding that a hawk soars or nature fulfills it course? Of course not.

Then God asks Job (paraphrase) Do you condemn me to prove yourself right?

Job’s reply: (paraphrase): Whoa, I shut my mouth!

The book of Job is a lesson in perspective from heaven to earth, earth to heaven. God’s Presence is everywhere.

  3. Hawk tried to teach himself to fly,
“Should be no harm in THAT!”
but he didn’t get too high,
    and met the ground, ker-SPLAT.
Stars thought that they might organize
    the jewel-like Pleiades cluster,
    but to no-one’s real surprise,
    it kinda lacked real lustre.
    Orion tied his own star-belt
    (he thought God wouldn’t mind),
and the next thing that he felt
    was belt upon behind.
I see these lessons, born of old,
and will just do as I’m told.

From here to there was the first thought that popped into my mind as well. I like how you developed it.
