Vision/ Clear vision vs double vision

Mountains of precipitous words echo constant reverberation. Reach into the WORD to find perspicacity (clear insight) Today politician and news media constantly reverberates the same talking point, spouts opinions as facts, and shuts down free speech if it is contrary to their talking points. God calls us to know our foundational truths; to think freely is an inalienable right given to us by God, not man.

Colossians 2:6-8 Calls us to be firmly rooted, established, and growing (vocal) in our calling and commitment to the Lord. The next verse says, ‘see to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy (Marxism, BLM, etc.) and empty deception (gov’t programs) according to the traditions of men, according to the elementary principles of the world rather than according to Christ.

Vision is not only what we see but what we take in; it is also about clear insight. A mind free to think will image, reason and then decide to act.

James 5-8…If you lack wisdom, ask God who gives without reproach….ask in faith…without doubt, one who doubts is tossed by the wind (of every empty philosophy), double-minded, unstable…not knowing his own mind. (paraphrase.)

God is not afraid of your questions…seek, knock, and the answers will come.

    There’s a word called perspicacity
    I could never understand,
and it always called to me
the deodorant that is named Ban.
But in this I guess I’m wrong
(though I’ve seldom been wrong yet),
for the word’s not ’bout the strong
and awful smell of someone’s sweat,
but it has to do with insight
    being sharp and crystal clear,
so I think that now I just might
    pour myself another beer
    and drink a perspicacious toast
    to this quite enlight’ning post.
