hopes for peace lie within
the crescent moon
On moonbeams, life frolics till night's hush moves stillness in and draws the sleepy eyes shut, all rest.

jet lag, sleep comes when-
western time, eastern time
neither, baby time 
memories lay curled 
tumbled, dark rumble 
inner balance skewed   
truth is a plumbline 
that does not vary 
or shapeshift.
