Wintry winds

threnodies

first snow
falling softly
warm thoughts

Still, cold,
 frozen white
 icicle glistening.

 Droplets drip
 amid a frozen field, 
nature's water fountain

whispers of inspiration, a notion under wonderment- writing again.  

On gradient winds,
matching a clarion call
Eagles hitch a ride.
